Girl Scouts Lobby Day

Pettigrew Consulting Services proudly partnered with the Girl Scouts for a special Lobby Day, where youth leaders met with their legislators to advocate for the issues that matter most to them. These young change makers engaged in meaningful discussions, learning firsthand about the legislative process and how they can make a difference in their communities. The Girl Scouts filled the Washington State Capitol rotunda with energy and purpose as Representative Jamila E. Taylor led them in their empowering mantra chants! Their voices echoed through the halls, reminding everyone that young leaders belong in these spaces.

As a token of appreciation, Girl Scout Cookies were delivered to legislators, thanking them for their hard work and dedication to serving the public. The Girl Scouts are leaders, innovators, and advocates dedicated to building a better future. Through hands-on experiences, they develop essential skills in leadership, civic engagement, and problem-solving, empowering them to take action on issues that impact their lives and communities. This Lobby Day was a huge success thanks to the successful partnership between Pettigrew Consulting Services and the Girl Scouts! From meeting with legislators and advocating for their needs to delivering Girl Scout Cookies as a heartfelt thank you, these change makers showed up, spoke out, and made an impact.

This is what youth empowerment and leadership in action looks like! The future is bright, and strong, confident, and fearless young women are shaping it. We are honored to support the next generation of trailblazers and celebrate their commitment to advocacy and service!
